1957 Obituary Napoleon Babbie; Text
Plattsburgh press-Republican March 1, 1957 page5 Napoleon Babbie Champlain - Napoleon Babbie, 83, died yesterday afternoon at the Champlain Valley Hospital following a long Illness. Mr. Babbie was a life long resident of this village. He is survived by his wife, the former Nellie Senecal; three daughters, Mrs. Armand FAvreau, Mrs. Albert LaBombard and Miss Helen Babbie all of Champlain. Also survivinf are two sons, Napoleon Jr, and Cyril, Champlain; one step-son, Sgt. Norman Prairie, Loren AFB, Maine; two step-daughters, Mrs. James Welch, Canton and Mrs. Ernest Boucher of South Barre, Conn. Also surviving is one brother, Joseph of West Chazy and one sister, Mrs. Salina Gload of Champlain. Twenty-two grand children survive along with 37 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. The body is at Clark Funeral Home in Champlain. Funeral services will be in St. Mary's Church monday morning at 9.
