Naomi V. Patrie MALONE — Naomi V. Patrie, a resident of the Franklin County Nursing Home in Malone, NY died Thursday, December 24, 1998, at the nursing home. She had been a resident there since December 29, 1987. Born in Chasm Falls, NY. June 9, 1909, she was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Brean King. She attended local schools. In 1926, she was united in marriage to Horace Bashaw. He predeceased her in 1951. In 1957, she was united in marriage to Walter Patrie in Champlain, NY. He predeceased her in 1983. Mrs. Patrie was a homemaker. She was also a housekeeper for Rev. Legault at St. -Joseph's Church in West Chazy, NY. for several years. She was a member of the Malone Adult Center. She enjoyed writing poetry, bingo and fishing. Survivors include: three stepsons Clarence Patrie of Champlain, Walton Patrie, Jr. of Oscoda, ML, and Richard Patrie of Spring Hills, FL„ eight step-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. • Besides her parents and her two husbands, she was predeceased by five brothers, Edgar, Fred, Charles, George and Amos King and four sisters, Miss Alma King, Mrs. Florence Carlina, Mrs. Rose McNeil and Mrs. Edith Owens. Calling hours will be Monday ftpm 9 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. at the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone. Bernadette May Patrie Written by pressrepublican.com Tuesday, November 28, 2006 CHAMPLAIN — Bernadette May Patrie, 79, of Champlain passed away Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006, at the CVPH Medical Center. She was born July 31, 1927, the daughter of the late Wilfred and Bertha Bordeau. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Ann and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Her hobbies were reading and genealogy. Her parents; her husband, Leonard Arthur Patrie who died in 1994; and two brothers, Wilfred and Robert Bordeau, predeceased her. Survivors include three sons, Deacon Leonard Patrie and his wife Amy of Rouses Point, Phillip Patrie and his wife Barbara of Champlain and Joseph Patrie and his spouse J.R. LaBarge of Champlain; three brothers, Gerald (Mike) Bordeau, Philip Bordeau of Plattsburgh and James Bordeau and his wife Jenny of Plattsburgh; one sister-in-law, Joan Bordeau of Plattsburgh; eight grandchildren, Rachel Brinson and her husband Robert of Denver, Colo., Randall Patrie of Champlain, Jeremy Patrie of Champlain, Julie Ashline and her husband Jacob of Champlain, Bobbie Patrie of Rouses Point, Nathan Patrie of Rouses Point, Anthony Patrie and his wife Shelby and Nicholas Patrie of Mooers Forks. PRESS-REPUBLICAN Thursday July 6,1995 Rita M. Duquette CHAMPLAIN - Rita M. Duquette,80, formerly of Champlain,died Wednesday, July 5,1995, at the Meadow Brook Nursing Home. Born in Montreal, Quebec,July 28, 1914, she was the daughter of Arthur and Adelaide (Phaneuf) Duquette. She served in the U.S. Army (She served in the Navy) during World War II as a nurse and held the rank of 1st lieutenant.She later worked as a registered nurse at the Worchester City Hospital in Worchester,Mass., and retired, in 1964. Miss Duqquette was a Worchester City Hospital alumni, a member of the Catholic Daughters of St. Mary's Church in Champlain, American Legion Post 767 in Champlain, the American Association of Retired Persons, the Disabled American Veterans, and was a member of the Retired State and Country Municipal Employees Association. Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Clifford and Agnes Duquette of Florida and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Saturday beginning 10 a.m at the Clark Funeral Home in Champlain followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. at St.Mary's Church. Full military honers will be accorded her Burial will be in ST. Mary's Cemetery. PRESS-REPUBLICAN SUNDAY, JULY 9,1995 DUQUETTE — A funeral service was held at St. Mary's Church in Champlain Saturday for Rita Duquette, 80,who died July 5, 1995. The Rev. Dean Bechard and Deacon Leonard. Patrie presided at the Mass. Bearers were Joseph and Clarence Patrie, Ralph and George Cookman; Felix Bechard and Julius Mayo, Burial followed in St.Mary's Cemetery where Bechard and Patrie recited the committal prayers.
