Fri. Nov. 21, 1919 Plattsburg Sentinel Page 4 Louis Bourdo, Jr. died at his home No. 63 Waterhouse street, at five minutes of twelve on Thursday night. Mr, Bourdo was 51 years of age and had been sick but five days with peritonitis. His wife died only three weeks ago. Surviving Mr. Bourdo are his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Bourdo of Plattsburgh. Three daughters, Mrs. Charles Malo, Mrs. Wilfred Bourdo and Mrs. Ernest Bird, and two sons, Andrew Bourdo and MosesBourdo, all of Plattsburgh. Oct. 31, 1919 Plattsburgh Sentinel Page 4 The funeral of the late Mrs. Louis Bourdo of 63 Waterhouse street was held from Our Lady of Victory church Wed. morning at nine o'clock and her relatives and a large circle of friends attended the service to pay their last respects. The Ladies of Our Rosary Society of our Lady of Victory church, of which Mrs. Bourdo was one of the oldest members, were present at the funeral in a body. Rev. J. H. Bachand officiated at the service. The pall bearers were Israel Crete, John Bassett, Robert Hodgins, Clifford Bondville, Arthur Lecuyer and Frank Wilkinson The internment was at St. Peter's cemetery. Mrs. Bourdo had been in Ill health for some time. A few days ago she was taken with a shock of paralysis from which she never recovered and passed away on Monday afternoon. She leaves to mourn her loss besides her husband, two children, Mrs. Charles Malo, and Wilfred Bourdo of this city; three sisters, Mrs. Joseph Sweenor of Peru, Mrs. Fred. Jigger and Mrs. Frank Courier of Cadyville; and three brothers, Alex and Napoleon Delumyra of Rouses Point and Charles Delumrya of Morrisonville.; [Source Record]

Bernadette May Patrie Written by pressrepublican.com Tuesday, November 28, 2006 CHAMPLAIN — Bernadette May Patrie, 79, of Champlain passed away Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006, at the CVPH Medical Center. She was born July 31, 1927, the daughter of the late Wilfred and Bertha Bordeau. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Ann and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Her hobbies were reading and genealogy. Her parents; her husband, Leonard Arthur Patrie who died in 1994; and two brothers, Wilfred and Robert Bordeau, predeceased her. Survivors include three sons, Deacon Leonard Patrie and his wife Amy of Rouses Point, Phillip Patrie and his wife Barbara of Champlain and Joseph Patrie and his spouse J.R. LaBarge of Champlain; three brothers, Gerald (Mike) Bordeau, Philip Bordeau of Plattsburgh and James Bordeau and his wife Jenny of Plattsburgh; one sister-in-law, Joan Bordeau of Plattsburgh; eight grandchildren, Rachel Brinson and her husband Robert of Denver, Colo., Randall Patrie of Champlain, Jeremy Patrie of Champlain, Julie Ashline and her husband Jacob of Champlain, Bobbie Patrie of Rouses Point, Nathan Patrie of Rouses Point, Anthony Patrie and his wife Shelby and Nicholas Patrie of Mooers Forks. Several nieces and nephews also survive her. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Clark Funeral Home in Champlain. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2006, at St. Mary's Church in Champlain.
